The JAC in our ranch name stands for these three kids, each with their own expression of intensity, all now out in the same show ring this summer {2011 Oregon State Fair, OC Shorthorn Show} for the first time. Watch for these up-and-comers at future shows!
J stands for Jessica, and "Judge, how do you like me now?"
A stands for Andrew, and "Anything but being beat by a girl."
C stands for Catherine, and "Can I show now? I can do it myself."
Cool! Catie looks like she knows what she's doing! Reese is going to show next year! That will be fun. Maybe you could sign Catie up for goat showmanship at Spring Classic. She could use Stripes!
ReplyDeleteThat was Catie's 2nd time showing and Andrew's first. She looked more confident than him, but that is just her personality, too. She is not afraid of much. She was using Shelby's heifer and never stopped to think if she was easy to handle. Good thing she was.
ReplyDeleteCatherine would love to show goats anytime, I'm sure. That would be cute to see Catie and Reese out there together!
